We finally got our first “real paper” letters from Latvia, kids were excited, thanks a lot! Czech Republic.

We finally had a chance to write real “paper letters.” The letters from the Czech Republic to Latvia and Spain are already on their way together with some typical Czech sweets!

CZECH REPUBLIC – we have updated our project noticeboard placed next to the Castle of Žerotín in the middle of the town. People can read about our trips and activities that children do during the project.

Our trip was 16 km long, we started in Ostravice and went to Malenovice. We were really lucky, the weather was excellent. On the 23rd September 2021 we finally managed to go hiking for the second time. This time we went through the Vsetín hills to the Lake Cáb with a group of 11 pupils. As usually, they worked on a worksheet on their way and shot a videoreport. We are going to edit our videos in later autumn and in winter. We were lucky to meet a salamander, which belongs to endangered species! On our way, we couldn´t miss hills Búřov and Santov with beautiful views of Wallachian countryside. The weather wasn´t ideal, in the morning it was a bit foggy and really cold, but in the afternoon the sun made us warm again. The autumn si simply here! Hana Břoušková, Czech Republic

Despite the difficult times we are going through, they have been working with great enthusiasm and dedication. They are willing to go on working in our project and doing all the activities which have not been possible to do this year. We gathered in the school courtyard to give them a certification and some clothes (cap and jacket) with the project logos. There was a representation of all the school sections at the meeting (teachers, headmistress, administration…) and we all agreed that joining the project has been a wonderful experience as regards its main topic and also, getting to know students and colleagues from the other countries we are working on with. Finally, we would like to say that we are looking forward to the years to come and…
